Hi i have a Renault with a siemens s115300121 ecu which the reverse is covered in silicon/rubber the car has an immo issue and i need to immo off, if i put the key in and turn the key quickly before the immo cuts in the engine starts but then dies.
I have x prog m and digimaster II and am presuming i will need to communicate via certain pins to get a dump to then modify before programming back on, but this is an educated guess and all help/advice is much appreciated.

http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f178/renault-fenix5-im-o-101129/ Read post #2. Solution is tested and working. No need programmer or any solder/desolder tools.

Fenix 5 you`ll make immo off with a tool tiny sweeper, very simple, ATtiny2313 uP, works perfect.
Search here for " tiny sweeper " tool schmatics, simple even for a electronics beginner !
No need to open the ecu, only a few wires and you`ll see there.

Should the immo light go out after the car has started then or should it go out before to confirm this has worked?
I attempted this on the car and carried out the process 5 times then gave up and all the time the immo light was flashing i mistakably thought it was that light i wanted to either go out or stay on. I attempted to start the car with no outcome.
I have brought the ecu to the bench and since seen it is the eml light that needs to be on constant so i have checked that and it does stay on, so i have also carried out the 1a to 1b etc routine 9 times and going back out to the car tomorrow to try again.
The owner of the vehicle called me to say he has been told of a case where the ecu had gone into infrared mode instead of u c h and it may need that setting changing??
Could that be the case? has anybody heard of that?

Hi,
unfortunatly this didn't work, any advice?
The owner of the car says that the eml was not flashing in the first place so could i have jumped the gun?
Any advice much appreciated.

Hi
I think it is time to check wiring and relays first.
Does the central locking work with the key?
