That soft for the FTL in-cab equipment like HVAC and so on (using templates) and the SAE code reader. I am not sure about reprogramming of odometer for example :)

hi, I install the software but when I visit the page send me the next message "Error with VIN Decoder object, SlinkDownload.CAB may not have been installed. Automation server can't create object" I click on accept and after I click on Admin and send me another message "Error: The support install is not detected. ServiceLink requires the support install to be run prior to connecting. Please go to the ServiceLink Admin>Download page and run the Support Install"

i'm wondering if you can set up smart switches to the bulkhead module or you just have templates for codes and checking circuts and comm between modules

You can't program smart switches unless you are using the online version of Service Link meaning you would have to be logged on to Access Freighliner to make the parameter changes.

Service Link off line does not do reprograming you need an account at Freightliner to do that . Which kind of sucks but the software is very buggie they have to do updates all the time . Even when you have an account you have to make sure you have a good internet connection if it goes down while reprograming the bulkhead mod mostlikly you will Brick it .

both trucks have hvac modules. I am not sure about light modele. I have seen a box under instrumental panel and i think that could be light module. If you need to know location of hvac boxes let me know what year is your truck. I use old Nexiq LiteLink(J1708) and when you open Device Tester it shows observed mid's. You can see what kind of modules has your truck..

Can anyone help with making this icon go directly http://localhost/ServiceLink. If I go to properites and change the C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe to that I keep getting an invalid path error message. It works fine if I save http://localhost/ServiceLink in my favorites and go to it that way, I just can't seem to get it to automatically load to ServiceLink. Thanks for any help!

I have no default.html in that folder, it's not that big of a deal to load it through my favorites i guess. Would be nice to not have to though.

First off do you have your adapter hooked up to the pc right now ? If not shut Service Link offline down hook it up .
also make sure your adpater is working first . If you have not installed the drivers for it do so now then turn on Service Link
