BMW DDE2 Immo problem

Hi folks,

a friend of mine sent me the 2 eproms (27C1001) of his broken DDE2.2 ecu (pcb damaged). Now i should find a way to make a clone-ecu.

Can i get the car running only by putting the eproms in a new(used) ecu? Do i need to exchange a eeprom? Where are the EWS values stored?

DDE2 0281001373 with 037335945 and 037335946

As far as i know in 725TDS immo is stored in 93c46 eeprom.
Bottom left on Siemens MCU near 2 capacitors.

I?ll see, if i can get the broken ecu too to swap the eeproms.

Apart from that. Is it possible to remove the immo completely?
It?s only to keep a last chance.

Hello,

today i got the broken andn the "new" ecu.

But my friend told me that he has fiddled around on the EWS-ecu with BMW Scanner and INPA to get the new ecu (E39 525tds) running and the result is the EWS-ECU ist completly dead. What a dork!!!

So i think we hav to remove the immo.

What eeprom image do you need? From number 2 or 4 or both?

What is the right socket for the Eproms 27c1001?

037335945 into socket 1 and 037335946 into socket 3 or vice versa?

thank you for the eeprom files guys. i have corrupt ones from a 98 e38 and i need to try and clone a used ecu and see if i can adapt it to the car or remove immo at least...

If anyone knows how to do it plese pm or post here.
Its a 12/1997 production e38 725tds with 0281001373 ecu and 660/661 software
i'm unable to get it to start for almost 2 months now...

I need your help to start the engine of this vehicle. the immo module and the antenna are failing, I programmed an extra key, but the car turns on only at times. works well for two days and then not want to turn, when scanned in the scanner says key is not recognized.
override the immobilizer need immo off to make this vehicle and for this I found two EPROMs B58 47AF 323 in the engine's ECU, this memory I show the image I have read and 93C46, I hope your help friends

Try this to remove the EWS, you probably will need to find the EWS box, and connect the two largest wires if you are having key reading problems.
These wires are the starter motor interrupt.

2 .- then disconnect the EWS
3 .- after bypass must join the two wires or thicker, EWS connector
4 .- start the engine
NOTE: The EWS should no longer be connected to the vehicle (EWS is removed)

Yes, write that dump into the eeprom and replace, then you cn unplug the EWS box, and loop a wire between the connectors for the two largest wires.

The ECU will now work on any car, but the EWS will still block the starter motor.
Connecting those two wires will make the starter run with or without the original key.

I have tested along time ago this file and works great, try to do that what's on the cdvaldinis's picture and report

I have the ecu here and have changed the file on 93c46 (nr:2 i post #5) as cdvaldinis said. But havnt tested it i car yet.

I have another question before i test it in car. What is stored on 93c46 nr:4 in post #5? I read it before i tested it with otocheck file and when i now test it it not the same?

I read DDE box that chip (pic number:4) that show 00 00 00 all lines. And read chip (pic number:2) that show 00 FF 00 FF all lines. I use carprog and 93C46 8bit. I try 93C46 put no chip detected!? Did that/those chip need solder out?

Can some one make me immo off bin? bins?
