Help Please with Resetting "Service exceeded by 12345 miles"

Can someone please help me reset the "service exceeded by" on a 2005 e class merc.

I have done mileage correction via cluster KM+flash using diga, however i am unable to reset the "service Eceeded by" could this be the reason why i am unable to reset this service exceeded by?.

What i mean is after doing a km + flash via cluster only, how do you reset "service exceeded by 111,111" for eample??

Can anyone help please.

You can reset the w211 service in diga menu, the message must be gone then.

Ok so i use the MB service cable (please confirm which one as i have 2 obd cables for MB) dont use the can dongle, select MB,W211, service, enter new figure.

can someone please explain what figure needs to be entered.

about this car, i think you can made it manualy via button on the steering wheel

i haven't method in this computer, i can post it this afternoon if you need it, say me

Thanks Peko, but i have that procedure manual and it doesnt work unfortunately however,

I can use Diga but, i do not know what figure to input under service ?? can anyone help explain please.

approximately 10k miles between services or 365 days (1yr) .add the miles zand days to next service and so on for example 1st service at 9966 miles,354 days,2nd service 19401 miles and 703 days

Because you did not correct the service before adjustment, you will need to drive the car for a few miles then it will adjust via the buttons on the steering wheel

Dashradio, yes i didnt reset the service before adjusting, however i did the adjustment via cluster only km+flash so is it a tried and tested method for this to work in my case ????

Hi mate it is not possible without star should be done before correction but if you do forget then you can do it in service assist bit of a pain but not impossible good luck
