I dont have car where to connect Star multiplex but I want made ceasar test. Witch pins are +12V and Ground in ODBII cable?

16 is VCC

But why would one want to use the OBD-cable instead of the 4-pin test cable to power up the mux.

Because I was the one quoted in your question I feel like I have to answer this. The reason could be as simple as it sounds...because I don't have the 4-pin test cable or for a better reason...I broke that cable. :(
About simppa's reason...I don't have any clue for that...better to ask him.

My mistake when I quoted your comment. I guess I intended it as additional info to what you provided but should have made it more clear. I'm sure you knew this but I understand why you got upset.
