you can read with any universal programmer but is crypted data, if you read with bdm tool is decoded directly,
i need i have soft for decoding file reading by universal programmer for decode edc16 file

no,i don't think that it will be a crypted data,it will be a binary data that you can tune it by winols
when you tune a ecu like this the result will be perfect
i diagnose many cars that was tuned by obd you know what's the result? i communicate partialy with ecu(only read DTC) because the diag interface can't identify the ecu 100%

well it will not be encrypted but will take more time. Just buy a bdm100 from china ... is really cheap and you will have a backup solution from now on.

Should it go with XProg ?

I have a EDC16U1, but i can not read it with BDM100, with BS i can read it.

I have a problem by writing over OBD and now the ECU does not answere. I can not rescue it, because with BDM100 i have no connection.

Now i don`t know how to fix it.

If you had wrongly connected BDM pad to ecu you may burned the prozessor...in this case no more resque is possible.

A friend ruined my new MED9.1 ecu for test his clone cmd bdm100 with evc probe ...

700? in the a.s.s.

Use the tools with it s own probes and check 3 times.

Check by finding ground pads, thus is safest way for ecu...

The pin connection is right for my bdm 100. I have read other EDC16 and it`s ok.

any other members can confirm this?
and for 3,3v i must do it too?

The safe way to work with a clone is to supply voltage to the ECU by pins not by BDM port. You can do this with all ECU.

I have a BDM100 clone and use it with EVC probe.

Yes,ut not with SPI10 connector1:1...between cmd and evc BDM SPI OUT canges,so you need invert wires from connector to connector. If not you would burn the ecu...

Yes i have change the pins from connector, i have not connected 1:1

why don't you read it via obd
i have all those tools and mpps do it galletto too .
only use my bdm for cloning/backup/immo

my 2 cents

Here's what I use and I have no problems
should only be soldered power (12V+ and 12V+ign. and mass-) directly to the pins of the connector
can easily be traced from the image
