look around you for other good programmer before you damage your eeprom and his content .
Be carefully @ voltage reading , no less then 3.5V !

I think tacho universal can not do this cluster post the dump of the 93c86 with actual mileage here we will calculate the new value for you.

Tacho Uni can do this,
1) read under any 93C86 menu (ignore whatever the wrong mileage it was displayed)
2) save the file
3) go to SHOW (Datasheet will show)
4) Press STOP (navigate cursor)
5) edit mileage ( 65536 plus kilometer divide by 17 covert to Hex last 4 bytes)
6) write all

you can connect as on attachment picture
if you need a dump file, what is your Car engine? Gas or deisel?

Hi Kentzee,

That adapter you shown, can i ask you how reliable is that for eep r/w?
Had in my mind before, but i'm not sure it is suitable for data communication, common use at stable voltage (charger etc) and also supported with a grip/notch/housing to make it fully contacted.
Need to know before make a one like that, Thank's.

TOYOTA LandCruser Mileage Calculator for 2008 Top Models

eepram S93A86

have you tried this Algo by tachosoft ??

Car type: Toyota LandCruiser LC200 (Europe) - 93c86 - 2007-2009 years
The mileage is stored in the next lines:
0000: 08 00 08 00 08 00 08 00 08 00 08 00 08 00 08 00
0010: 08 00 08 00 08 00 08 00 08 00 08 00 08 00 08 00
0020: 08 00 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF
0030: FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF
0040: FF FF FF FF xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
where the next bytes:
08 00 - is a mileage

please post your original dump + old and new mileage , maybe someone can check for you :)

good luck!

hello friends, Hise the operation and I get only 3 number in hex ***8203;***8203;I'm doing wrong?

65536 [km] / 17 = 3855.05882 [dec] = 111100001111 [bin] = F0F [hex]

F0F must replace the DUMP?? I think something is wrong.

read carefully the methods of HCIP again

koncimobil
3rd October, 2011, 03:35 PM
Hchip formula:
(65536 + a) / 17 = b

b convert to hex

notes:
a = km value
b = decimal value

HCIP can i use this algo with miles instead kilometers

5) edit mileage ( 65536 plus kilometer divide by 17 covert to Hex last 4 bytes)
6) write all
