Ok, i'm sick of the electric shower i've got, it's more like a pensioners dribble than a shower. Anyway i used to have a gas power shower that was the dogs, but i left it in my old house when i moved.
I fully intended to get another one but put in a leccy one in temp, and it's been here for 6-7 years now.

I want a nice powerfull shower, the one i've got is 9.5kw and tbh the gas shower i had was by far better. Soooo can anyone recommend a good powerful shower. I can't see there being much difference between the leccy 9.5 and the 10.8 or whatever it is now :)

that looks interesting m8 as i have to update bathroom as i have now got solar panels in to heat the water and i was going
to try and use a mixer on bath to give me my shower and also keep the power shower as its a new triton 9.5 kw but with rising costs of power trying to move away from high costs.

I got my plumber to put in a 3bar monsoon pump, everything after the cylinder has great pressure. Toilets fill really fast, shower is amazing, also great pressure in the taps.

was looking at getting in solar panels myself
an electric shower is a waste of money if your already producing hot water with the panels
just get the pump and your laughing and a new head id love this one eBay.ie: 16" LARGE SOLID CHROME SQUARE MIXER SHOWER HEAD SH41 (item 370474266916 end time 16-Jan-11 12:13:04 GMT) (http://cgi.ebay.ie/16-LARGE-SOLID-CHROME-SQUARE-MIXER-SHOWER-HEAD-SH41-/370474266916?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Bathroom_Shower_Uni ts_PP&hash=item5641fcb124)

i have a 4yr old condensing gas boiler used to heat the rads and/or top up the heat in the new immersion that got replaced and if need be dual elements in cylinder if i dont want the gas on,march on solar panels will start working better.

Also Jok, anything you do to your home to improve it's efficiency, ie, insulation, condensing boiler, solar panel's should all come under " sustainable energy " and should be eligible for grants. Check it out, can't hurt.
