lOOK, NO IDEA MATE, WAS LOOKING AT ~~~~, sorry caps lock, found this
Sterling Automotive -||- MG Rover Jaguar Land Rover Specialist in Eastbourne, Sussex (http://www.sterlingautomotive.co.uk/index.htm)

Is it worth buying one of these cars, ripping out the interior, dump at side of road, fill with your beer, reno head, alfa carbs etc etc, then drive it over?

Excuse my ignrance, (don't know much about history, don't know much about biology, don't know much about geograhpy)

Why not ask member the_riddler to have a search, as he lives near portsmouth (think) - do a search, he had a bit of bad luck and ended up with a dead reno, had it lasted another 1/2 hr, would have been on a boat back to froggy land.

Appologies for not know how to get from UK to "on a rock"

Perhaps he could help??????

You fly over, he has the 'gear', you press his thanks button, then a sneaky press of his rep button, job's a carrot.

See if he can add you to his traders policy for one week, so you can drive to the ferry, after that, thank you for calling, please call again if your taking shit away.

Problem is then I have to drive it off the ferry, all the way down through France and Spain to cadiz and then its got to go on another ferry to get it on this rock, I did do it a few years ago in a MASIVE old Ford cargo that had 550000Klms on the clock and it didnt miss a beat all the way down, but that was a Ford and we are talking about a Rover built in the UK for use only in the UK it might get a scared knowing it has to do all that and blow a head gasket

It was the though that counts.

We do have a contact in Spain, but this will cause TWO problems

1) Meat-Head-Motors cover will be blown - BIG STYLE
2) What the guy would charge you to source the parts, you might as well
just NOT bother.

HTH

No not looked not my job, migel, or jose has taken it apart in his garage and then someone told him to call the English guy to get another g\box for it as there is none here.
