I have VW Caddy2 1.9TDI- 105HP, motor BJB, ECU-03G906016DM (0281011882 371251). I've read its ECU firmware with Galetto 1260.
I've found a tunned file for it: just simple hex-compared the .ori file and Galetto-read one, also the .mod one shows the same ECU data through WinOLS.
Please, tell me does the .mod file is the right one for my engine and if the mod is really good?
Can I write the files back to Caddy's ECU with Galetto without any problems afterwards?

Thank you!

Have a pro mod your own original file. It is the Only way to do a good mapping.

Any file you use is at your own responsability, sometimes is worth paying instead of crying later.

Did you read what the guys already told you? Don't use files from internet ... if you don't know what you are doing go to the local tuner or ask a pro to mod the file for you. Do it your way and there is big chance to lock the ECU or damage engine.

The first mod (from Internet): flashed with Galetto and I drove the car 2 weeks without problems.
The second mod (in my last post): I did it by myself yesterday and I think it is better than the first one.

Guys, I just wanted to know your opinion for the second mod!

listen my friend....if you dont no what you are doing you will cause long term damage to the engine and turbo,,,re mapping ecu dumps takes along time, money and lots of effort......you need to first understand what the maps do b4 you adjust them.,........dont guesstimate.......buy some files and compare them and start from there.....

So, does somebody looked at the files?

Guys said you not to load the file and search for a pro tuner... did you miss something?

On the other hand... you can load the file you want and report results. Don't forget to do logs and taking photos...

We're expecting results :)
