What is the procedure to add a key to VW Jetta with one original key?
1. It's Megamos crypto ID 48, right?
2. Is this clonable to tpx?
3. Need a PIN? how to get it ( super VAG?)
4. Can SBB v32 bypass PIN and program it?
Thanks

48 is correct chip,no it will not clone.yes you need to extract pin stored in dash.t-300 or sbb can pull pin make sure battery is full change.

1. read the dash dump and post to let you know the login
2. then you get one new crypto 48 transponder
3. enter dashboard diagnosis usis vag com or something similar
4. enter login
5. enter anpassung chanel 21, or 20 dont know exact wo tool in front of me
6. choose number of keys 2 1 old plus 1 new and thats it

Im surprised the SBB and T300 can pull the pins out of a VAG dash for those years. For what I understand they can calculate the PIN with other input such as dealer info etc which can be hard to find out.

May I program keys if I erase all the programmed keys on a Jetta 2006 NA?
I have a blinking key icon on the dash and I think the only way to get rid of it is by erasing all (2) the keys and adding them again.
The light came on after I tried adding a key with an old transponder in it.
Thanks a lot ...

Marginal, you'll need a PIN to add a key diagnostics way. Post your dump on the forum and someone will help you with it.

Thanks, but I have the PIN, I read it with the VAG DASH CAN hardware.
No dump file as I have not disassembled the ECU yet.
By the way, I already added a working key (after the unsuccessful adding of a key due to trying to add a key with an old transponder inside).
Regards.
