i know this is a long shot but i have a veritas 8 alarm at home and the keypad has decided to beep twice every time any one of the sensors pick up movement,before i rip the damn thing off the wall in a hissy fit,has anyone else had a similar problem?Any help would be good,regards,grumbles:heeeelllllooooo:

try, removing the mains fuse. remove the battery, short the 'memory link' power battery, power mains, relesase link.

this as a rule resets to default. the code will no longer be yours but a default - 1234 - 4321 - 1111 - 2222 etc etc.

CHECK FIRST BUT THIS MAY CAUSE OTHER PROBLEMS
eg - engineer mode - alarm sounds for 60 seconds etc etc.

DOEWS IT SAY TAMPER???????


usefull infor for breakin into hoses.

Cheers meat,i will be having a look at it after work today,no,there is no tamper light on and the alarm works ok,it just bloody beeps,ive got jasper my akita on guard duty till i sort it out,cheers

When the system is unset it is possible to set one or more zones to
Chime. When a zone is set to Chime the control panel will sound a tone
whenever the zone is entered.
To Program the Zones which CHIME
To program the zones which will chime enter your 4 digit code

the zones that will Chime. Press the appropriate numbered button(s)

' to turn Chime on (the system will sound the chime tone) or press
( to turn Chime off (the system will sound an error tone).6 INS036-5
To Turn CHIME On or Off
To turn Chime on or off press the music Note symbol ). The system will sound the chime tone
when Chime is turned on and an error tone when Chime is turned off.
If no zones have been programmed to Chime then turning Chime on
and off will have no effect.

Just like you said meat,and when it all came back on it beeped once then i done what allycoops sent in and its fine ,now the dog can relax..
