hello people
i have a blank key case for golf 4, and i have id48 CAN BUS chip. is it possible to use id48 can bus chip with golf 4 (instead of the "normal" id48)? is it possible to program it in golf4, or i have to buy exactly id48?

On polo 9N and T5 it is possible with VW CAN 48, I think on Golf4 it will be possible too, just You need unlocked CAN id48. Try it should work!
PS
But remember that normal id48 price is 3-5times lower.

yeah, but i already bought 5 pcs of id48 CAN chips... and i need to program key for golf 4. i have the pin code for this golf mk4 and i have t300 machine. do you think i can make it work? and another question: if i would try to program new key with can bus chip in golf 4, and if i couldnt make it work, will the original key still work? t300 deletes all keys from ecu before programming new ones, right? is it safe to try to program this key with CAN BUS chip? what if i fail, could i make the original key not working? i hope u understand me, my english isnt too good.

yes you gonna delete all the keys in the ECU but dont worry becausse you have the correct pin code you can reprogram the original key as many times you wish.
