Not exactly up-to-date if it only reads until pid $4E. That was nice back in 2002. We now have $85 pids.

So, it also doesn't know the difference between a diesel engine and a petrol engine, which has been introduced in 2007. Or loads of new Mids, Tids and Obdmids, the ecu name and the new service $0A, all introduced in 2007.
And it probably doesn't have the additional 2000 or so code descriptions also introduced in 2007.

I think if you want a EOBD/OBD2 scanner there are better ones. I wouldn't waste my money on this one.
