Hi all. Need advice. I have just bought a chacka bay, silca ford tibbe and a silca cylinder key machine. I have now been told i need a laser key copier also. I have been told that a miracle a5 will do everything my machines will do and be around ?1500 cheaper. Can you guys advice please as im thinking of returning my machines and buying a miracle. Please advice.

it is true. miracle a5 will:
1) cut to code both cylinder and laser keys
2) decode and cut cylinder and laser keys
3) cut to code ford tibbe keys (need a extra adapter)

chacka bay does not decode key (as far as i know). it does not cut ford tibbe key from code. whoever advised you is right.

Are there any laser keys that the A5 will not decode, like stuff like HU66 for instance? with some machines the internal cuts are too tight for a tracer to manuevre along..

I too would like to know if there is any thing the a5 will not do. At the moment i am seriously considering returning my chaka and silcas as this will mean i have 1 machine in the back of the van instead of 4. Do any of you guys use the a5 daily and if so is it user friendly and are there any problems i should know off.

Use it daily will cut hu66 etc without issue. Cut hundreds of keys on it. Only issues will not decode va2 right , or Renault card override keys, but these will be fixed on free update, and cutting tibbe is a bit slow but again they are making something to speed it up. If it does not have anything on it, it's easy to add a series using the depth and space info from instacode etc. It's a cracking machine, if mine got stolen tomorrow i'd have another on order that day, that's proof enough!!

VAG keys are easy enough to sight decode anyway, I was just curious. Thanks.

Hi viw9419. I am in Birmingham. Where are you based. Would love to see it work. Also what is the back up for the a5 like? If my machine fails today how long realisticlly before its sorted? Is there enough stock here in the Uk.

the VA2 issue is not unusual jamie. BD will not copy these without breaking tracer and ive heard viper has problems with them.

Exactly why I asked. I think that the 3dpro will decode VAG keys, but thought that to be the only one. Again, either way, it's no issue if it doesn't.
Considering buying a couple of these for our vans, and want to weigh all capabilities and incapabilities before diving in.

can someone explain me how it works vat?
I have contact with distributor in Spain and England, in England is best price if I don't pay vat. If I pay vat it's the same price like Spain.
Price England is 3880 pound sterlings. In spain is 5500***8364; more tax, 18%. Vat it's 20% more? Vat is for UE?
thanks!
