Hi All got here a Musso (I know Meat, Burn itlol) with leaky diesel pump, it does start and run but if left for more that a day the diesel empties out the pump and the battery dont have enough power to work glows, spin engine over enough to refill pump to get diesel to injectors to start it, the leak is the same whether the engine is running or not. How difficult, once the pump is off is it to replace the gasket where its drippng from, does it need setting up or recalibrating or is it end off new gasket and refit?

Thanks

Looks like quite an easy job once the pump is off, as long as all those bits in the back of the flyweight assembly stay there. Sorry to post and answer me own question

doesnt seem like you will need it to be bench calibrated as leak is at rear and you only will be stripping the rear:dontknow:
