Hi, does anyone know the code for this dump, they are no labels on the radio, and it is a Becker out of a Land Rover Defender.
On looking in the dump the part number appears to be Becker 4720 PDE SW and could be a serial of 5502661900000.
Looking at where I thought the Becker code would be (E9 EB EA) this give me a code of 43414 but this code is incorrect.
The set has 10 preset buttons and it a 5 digit code.

Your code is 43414.... confirmed by the dump AND serial calculation...

There looks... a problem with radio.. Check first you've got all power connections though..

Hi, thanks, for your reply, Yes I have had it powered on bench, it takes the code by press of same numbered button then on last digit press it goes back to code, after the third code entry it goes to safe, .....any more idea's welcomed

.... Can the code be turned off on this set ?

From what you describe.. it's similar to problems I've had with radios where the permanent feed doesn't exist, and of course the radio won't accept a code...

In your situation... I'd want to try the radio in the car, or see if there's any other connection which needs to be connected... before condeming the radio.

As for 'code off' I'll see if I have any possible solutions in archives... and see what else I can find out..

It's unusual.....

Hi, dump is in the first post, I have already read it. I have already tried the dump in a new chip.

I think you could try to put AAAAA x 3 instead of E9 EB E x 3. It worked on BECKER BE7433 so maybe will work in this radio.

Hi, Thanks to all who helped with this radio, the way that I fixed it was by putting in a new dump, but still can't understand why it would not work with the old one, anyway thanks.
