Hi Guys

I get many Opels so i asked my supplier to send me ID40 chips for Opel . He sent me PCF7935AS & all of them show this info on my AD900 ...

ID40 CRYPTO/GM 30 3F 70 00 3F 7E E0 C7 01 FC C0 01 00 FF 0F 1C

I got in a CORSA B today , not starting , T300 says error 12 - wrong transonder key . I read the customers key it is also an ID40 CRYPTO .

OPCOM & T300 says SUCCESSFULLY programmed but the car still wont start & MIL keeps flashing . Error code still says WRONG TRANSPONDER key.

If i read the newly programmed chip on AD900 it still has the same info as above which means the chip DID NOT get programmed ?

What does this mean ? What chip did he send me ? Is this what u call a precoded chip ? Judging from the chip code above can anyone please tell me why these chips are not getting programmed ?

Please help me guys , thx :dong:

As I thought,
Corsa B was fixed code ( ID33) up to 1998.. ( straight clone )
not crypto (id 40) up to corsa C 98 >>> 01..
GM/crypto id40 2001>>> ..

I also thought 7935as wasn't Crypto but not too sure

They are not programming because they are the older style Fixed Code ID40 transponders equivalent to silca's T9.

You need the newer style ID40 it is not fixed code and is equivalent to silca's T12. :hello:

Thank you so much ! So are u saying that if i order Silca T12 my T300 & Opcom will program successfully ? If so , when i order them , do i ask for T12 only or do i still have to say its for GM ID40 ?
Also , will i be able to use these old style fixed code transponders on any other cars then with my T300 & AD900
or is my money lost ?
Will this T12 chip work with my AD900 ?
Thx again for the help :ciao:

Yes order the T12 transponders and they will work by programming directly into the car.

Like Pianoman said the existing ID40 transponders that you
have will work on the older cars.

very interesting story guys wanted to open up a new thread hopefully found this ..

Opel Astra G 1998-99-2003 for example:

IMMO-2 TMS370Axxxx
Can anyone generate key image based on TMS dump?
As far as I know key dump should contain sychro bytes of ECU and IMMO, secret pin and Vin.

I know people who can do it but does not want to share:
anywhere I got an example here for you guys maybe som1
can explain what are those bytes in key dump and from where calc. got this bytes.

in my example:
90 F9 BC 54 xxxxx xxx xxx 6A E8 are sychro byes
as for FF F1 E3 F8 8F 03 00 80 1F 3F 8E in the first key no idea guys.

hi there, i saved myself from brain meltdown by understanding the difference between cloning & registering! some transponders can be cloned & some cannot be & need to be manually registered in the vehile by means of a diagnostic device or on board programming procedure. in the case of id40 there a 3 types the early ones can be cloned on a t5 chip key & can be done in the shop on your ad900 (cloning tricks the car into thinking its the same key it already knows) easy! i reccomend cloning at all times if can be done. the other 2 id40's is t9 & t12. t12 will do the t9's job & needs to be added to the cars memory via t300, sbb, mvp etc. so if you keep t5's & t12's you will be able to do all 3. t5 you clone on ad900 & t12 you register in car with your t300, does that help?
