Hi guys, would anyone be able to point me in the right direction for reading the ISN from the DME on an E34 M5? Inpa has no communication even via ADS. Reading EWS box with inpa gives me everything apart from the ISN (ERROR_ECU_REJECTED).
Basically the car refused to start after the battery went flat. Unfortunately it happend after the customer handed the keys over to the mechanic so its a bit of a time issue here. I haven't done much in editing EWS dump so far so the easier option to me is to put an emulator in place so at least the car runs to give me more time to sort this out properly.
I'm sorting out WMware/DIS install but its going very slowly. Is there anything else I can use with ADS or OBD/D-CAN or perhaps a simple KL interface to get access to the DME to read the number? Or maby someone know where it's located within the DME eprom dump?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
