Install Failure EWA Ver 1.7.59.21

I've bought ewa Ver 1.7.59.21 on 2 x DVD for the Smart Workshop Manual on it but cannot get it to install. Following the instructions, I click on "Start.html" which, after enabling active content, is supposed to take me to the DaimlerChrysler install page. However, all I get is a blank IE Page. I've asked the supplier for help but they seem prety clueless - I suspect I've bought a Turkey but any suggestions anyone has would be much appreciated.
Syetem is Win XP Pro, IE Ver 8.0

Try the seup.exe file from the ewa-folder.

Thanks, I've tried that but get an error message: "msg_install_system_files_failed"
