2 of the hobs stoped sparking , i know there good , as it sparks 5% of the time, whats to best way to clean the sparky thing?

Try cleaning the electrode tip with some wire wool or a scourer, also the spark is accomplished by creating a circuit with the hob gas diffuser, so also make sure that it is clean, you can remove them and soak them in diluted bleach for a few minutes and then rinse them with soapy water. Another thing which can cause this is if the sparking electrode is too far away from the the gas diffuser so in this case it would need a little adjusting,finally I have found fault on these is when the connecter to the base of the electrode has become loose, this can be tightened up with a pair of pliers......chuck

thanks , not taken it out yet theres a nut , so undo the nut and it should all lift off? i dont want to brake anything tbh.

if there really dirty mate try a bit of fine grade sand paper to move the crap
