Hi,
I'm after a bit of help with the installation of Clip hardware.

I've helped someone out using TeamViewer to install the software etc.

Everything works in terms of installation but he is only being asked for the Cypress driver and two other drivers - this is when the Clip unit is attached to the vehicle and ignition is on.

Therefore he is getting two green and two red lights.

Does anyone have any clues?

If you get 2 green and 2 red ledlights evrything should be ok!

Ok, thanks. He tells me that the software wouldn't recognize the vehicles.

Turns out that it was his laptop that was causing the problem. I can only guess that he had USB 1.1 instead of 2.0.

Thanks for your help.

I don't know then. He installed it on his desktop and all 4 drivers were asked for and installed.

On his laptop that didn't happen. Just the two drivers.

Yes, everything works from the desktop. I told him to get a different laptop.

It turns out that everything isn't fine. The unit is communicating with the car. It can read the VIN but won't do allow computer tests.

He has tried it on Clio and Kangoo van.

I'm going to have another shot at it with Teamviewer in about 10 minutes.

Update...

Everything is installed. I've gone on TeamViewer and it does the following.

Everything loads;
Recognises RLT2002Probe;
Connect to Clio II;
Click on the car icon and the VIN is recognised;
Enter 0 into RO.

Then... Click Computer Test, Clip programme disappears, the reappears back on the same page.
Then have to select a gearbox type

In device manager there is Cypress Hub, CAN Apres and ISO Apres.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
