Audi A4 2006 erased key ...

Hello everyone.

I erased a key of that car by mistake.
I was using the Super VAG DASH K+ CAN.
I was trying to add a key, but had the only programmed key in the ignition.
So, I tried after that to add that one or the new one I had prepared without success.
I used Diagun, VAG DASH K+CAN and SBB, but no luck.

Hi

All the Pin Codes in the picture they don't look good to me so try reading it again with T300, or Vag-Techo if you have it but I am sure even your Super VAG DASH K+ CAN could read unless you going in wrong system. If its a Diesel Car try reading it from Engine ECU....

This is RB8 dash m8 (no T300, MVP, vag tacho etc cannot read pin code). Anyway have DEF on dash.
As far as i know, this is a different procedure for learning keys on RB8 dash. Deja-Vu or Magic dash CAN can help you in this situation (for a reasonable price)

Best way to program key to this dash is using Vagdashcan RB8 menu and add key button. This solution work great for all immo4 cars You dont need any preprogrammad keys. When Your car is immo3(edc15 or me7 ecu) You need another solution. RB8 is dangerous dash because noone have seed key alg, only some pairs and afger 1000 acces try dash can be damaged.

You need first have dash in normal state. You can at least old key program back with VCDS by immo not dash. When it will be unsucessfull You need wait because dash will locked.(something like it when You put incorrect PIN 3 times but in this dash is locked too when key is not correct)

Not only to program the keys, but also the new instrument panel I'll have to buy, as this one has gone dead (with the "dEF." error message on it) ...

correct me if i am wrong someone. dejavu interface and software can only repair damaged RB4 a4 dashes. if RB8 dash is corrupted, the dash will have to be sent to them for repaires. thank you.

Actaully can we fix rb4 and rb8, right now just rb8 sw not public.
It will be soon :five:
In RB8 main problem is that comp security is destroyed and this means new transponders need to generate, bacuse engine ecu use 6 bytes comp security instead dash and transponder 12 bytes.

Hi

His Dash is KOMBI+WFS they are one of the real Sh**t Dash on Vag Cars to get the Pin Code.

And they are many times found on Golf 2000/2001.

Golf 4 RB8 is like not encypted Audi RB4 where You can read PIN code as well.
Audi A4 RB8 early version (2005 first models) use similar coding method like A4 2001-2004 encrypted, means encrypted pin what can be readed easy for key adaption procedure as well.
Pure RB8 use comp protection bytes, so PIN code pretty useless.
