Peugeot Key Cutting Code

Hi

I have a peugeot 306 with all keys lost have recived key cut code from dealer but when i got the key cut it does not work the locks, The code the dealer gave me contains cuts that are not used example

CDXXXX9XX

i have checked on a friends instacode and it only accepts the code were the 'X' are they are 'N' 'S' 'R' 'S'

Is this normal though on instacode the key cut looks a little diffrent to the key i have im wondering if they have used the wrong head to cut this key?
