XBOXLIVE - New update?

I logged onto Live today and was told there was a new console update, so far it doesn't seem to have made any difference to the machine at all.

Anyone want to give me the bad news?

Featureless 360 System update now available, Live offline Monday

Microsoft has release a system update for the Xbox 360. Sometime over the next few hours when you sign in to Xbox LIVE you’ll receive a prompt to accept this mandatory update. The update includes no new featuers but does contain code to ‘prepare for future growth of the service.’ Also on Monday April 21st from 0200-1000 PT Xbox Live will be offline for server maintenance.

i cant see them letting this chance go either.

Definately going to be a lot of bans shortly after the release. Personally I wont be going on live using it, for the time being at least.
