I don't know if this can be repaired but here's the story and hopefully someone on here can help me out of a deep hole!

I went to do a ford connect van, didn't realise it was the 9s12 version until I got there and armed only with a diga I proceeded to save the dump using 9s12 Tools on diga menu and adjusted second part of the dump using tachosoft instructions for vehicle. I then loaded both dumps back onto the dash and this is where the the problems begin. I assumed that dumps were fine but now looking at the first part I see that there is hardly any data on there and I'm guessing this is where the problems lie.

Van wont start, only airbag light is on, no mileage is displayed.

Hopefully someone will be able to tell me how I can repair these clocks. All help and suggestions appreciated.

i suppose that you don't have a good copy of original file. i also heard that 9S12 tool of TU is not very reliable.

unfortunately no, and I have written over good file with corrupt version, so it is gone.

Ur best bet is to get a good dump then get some one with ford ids to programme it in.

Quick update, the van is a long distance from me so solutions are not quickly implemented therefore it takes me a day or two to report back.

Anyway I loaded the original dump back into the clocks and all is ok. Only problem is that I have not been able to calculate the new mileage for the customer, maybe someone here can do this for me, Dump is attached on the first post.

Currently shows: 40083 - (miles)
I need: 19840

Have you try to read it under menu of diga (Ford Fiesta 069S12 or Focus 9s12 + Cmax 06)

Thanks for the dumps Hcip, yes I read under Focus 9s12 Cmax but it gave me wrong value so I didn't proceed. I will be back at the van on Monday so will not be able to report result until then but in the meantime many thanks, as always you're a star!
