Best Tool to Read/Write EDC16C39

Can anybody advice me on best tool to read and write to Edc16c39 on a vauxhall 1.9cdti 150bhp 2007

you canot read edc16c39 via OBD, only write

Get a BDM100 it s safer.

Always use BDM for that one! Writing through OBD can give error on some models at 99%, and writing ends without "closing" the ECU even with original tools (CMD). If this happens it can be recovered, but is a pain in the ass...

I have an edc16c39 from Zafira for testing thanks to emanuel2010. I will try to write with galletto, mpps and cmd can flasher 1251 an I will post results

i wrote the 150cv zafira 1.9cdti with MPPS and went perfectly. But i dont advice doing that on Opel AStra H or any 1-7cdti

I have flashed edc16 1.7cdti through OBD in two astra H without problems. One of them I even reflashed a couple of times. Also flashed vectra c 150hp without problems. All with genuine MPPS.

Maybe with good MPPS you can read/write EDC16C39 and EDC16C9 only write.

Thanks for your quick response but can the Alientech powergate read and write to both the EDC16C39 and EDC16C9 on a Zafira 1.9CDTI 150BHP

im also looking for a decent tool to read and wright to this ecu butt dont want to spend 100s on something ill only use a few times on this kind of ecu can anyone help with a bit of advice pleas and thanks
