i'v got eurovox 5000pvr [cable!] can it be coverted to fta and if so will it be dificult or do i have to junk it all help greatfully received

don't get mixed up with FTA (free to air) and free to view

free to view either needs a dedicated FTV box or some kind of subscription

FTA on these boxes is basically a few channels associated with BBC and ITV plus a couple of shopping channels
what you can view now on this box is all that you will ever get so basicly your box is pretty much useless
