ford fuel pump

hi guys,
I have heard that it is possible to virginise the ford bosch vp pumps by simply shorting one of the pins to earth?
Has anyone else done or know how to do this before i start destroying pumps?
One guy told me he has done it but was adament that he was not going tell me his 'secret' (ar5e hole).

How much hassle is it to upload one of them small battery powered rf security camera to your leadlight or better still cut a hole in the sound deadning, then *HOPE* it can see what he is doing, then pay him and time him to do it, fnarr fnarr
