i think i read somewhere on these forums that they are crap.
or am i confusing it with something else? maybe a clone? as they look remarkably similar to the picture in you rlink.

i bought one a few months ago and my dreambox is on 24/7 and it hasnt knocked off once.

very easy to set up, just plug it into ur pc and direct it to ur wireless router and save it, then its ready to plug into back of ur dreambox

I have one of these & mine only works on the computer.

As soon as i try the dremabox, it stops working.

I put it back onto the computer , & it works again.

Is there something i have to set up in the Dreambox ?

I normally have the ethernet cable directly plugged into the dreambox & that works ok, but as soon as i plug in the
wifi bridge, it doesn't work.

Mine is working fine too, however, you need the right chipset in the USB WiFi dongle. Ralink RT73 appears to be a popular chipset and can be found in many dongles.

I use a Belkin F5D7050 v3000 (Maplin) and its fine, my Netgear dongle however does not play because its the wrong chipset.

On my Gemini 800HD, I simply plugged in the USB dongle, rebooted, went to the Network setting and the WLAN device was there. I disabled the on board device and set up the IP on the WLAN device.

Hope that helps (from my limited experience here!)

I can't say for sure......

Here is the list I am using (taken from another site), but it is dated 2009. No Wireless N :-( Anything else is a bit hit and miss in my experience with other systems.

There MUST be a way of pulling it from the OS, but I don't know how.
