replace pcf7946 wuth a new one, format the chip for use in a clio.

Use tool to program to car, if Clip you will need 12 dig code.

1)remplace PCF7946 with a new one
2)precode a chip ID 46 renault (with key progammer)
3)program a key with PIN code via OBD (sbb,t300,ect)

and for this cable you can use it only with megane and scenic years 2000 until 2002 i think
and you need use crypto 60

You didn`t mention if is a key owned by that car or is a key used in other car ! Maybe you can tell us that for avoiding misunderstandings.

You can (re)program very simple a key if that key owns to that car, it`s the car`s key and it is only erased from UCH ( usual to Renos ).

If the key was used, programmed to other car, you apply the advices written above ( zedbull, sbb, t300 and so on )

A) Clio 1 with uch BMNT N2 with 93c46.

Is this key precoded and ordered from factory or can you buy blank RF key and code to car if you have pin code???


B) Clio 2 with UCH-N3, UCH-BG UCH-N2 with 93c66.

For this you can buy blank RF Key and code to car if you have pin code ????


C) Megane1 with infra red key and mcu in uch.


For this you must order precoded key from factory??

first clio 1 ID33 no need to precode it because don't work with a remote
seconde clio 2 you need to precode it (if you change a PCF 7946 blank)because it work with remote
and a last sorry i don't now for a remote i now carprog do ti

In my country we find Renault - Dacia - Logan precoded ID46 ( Renault ), cards for Megane, Laguna etc. only precoded for a specific type of Reno. Need only PIN for making them working.
Only precoded Renault ID46 keys are for selling, never seen blank-blank keys sold.
