Is it safe to upgrade the firmware on clone dice interfaces?

Also, what should i think about if i want to buy a clone dice interface from china?

I was tried once and this firmware update was ok.
VIDA 2010C and DICE 5.05

I heard all vida clones has got the same serial nr more or less.
That means they will be able to blacklist all clones in future versions.

Anyone heard something more about it?

Got my clone installed with 2010c, works great ,,so far, have connected to several cars with no problems.

Do I have to buy the subscription from Volvo to install a new CEM or other modules, is there a different way than what I am doing. It wants to connect to Volvo and get the password from me?

I have read that the modules come empty from Volvo like the General Motors Modules come and have to be loaded to work.

Modules come empty. Subscription is required to retrieve software from server.

You will need to modify the DVD (Compinfo.ini)
VIDA2010C\Install\DVD\Vida_dvdheader\Compinfo.ini

Could be , But I pulled it from a 2011A recorder Config Files and loader.

Any clone install should use that one also. My Clones do , But I use OEM /Setek only.

Recorder is in Ver.||

The thing is I have a new laptop with lots of features and I do not think it cannot fulfill VIDA?S requirements
