Today i went to do a citroen c4, I have a dp3 fully updated,

So first time doing BSI via obd,

First time i set BSI to 555miles and cluster to 88555, put the cluster back in and displayed 555 miles.

Second time around set BSI to 87555 and cluster to 88555.

Final outcome 87555, so my theory whatever you put in it seems to pick up BSI miles and not cluster....

So I believe that you don't even have to do cluster, just take cluster off plug, set BSI plug cluster back and done......

Hi, do you wait 15-20 min after back cluster and BSI? Sometimes you have to wait to cluster show biger value.

Best regards

I did a E7 taxi bsi with DP3, inside was a 95128 that took almost 50 minute to program, and while programing it brings on the lights and wipers, so you need to have a battery booster pack handy

WRONG!

when I have odered this update for dp3 I believe like you, bsi programing by OBD and job done! Its not true!
I have first try on C4 Picaso, after 30min. BSI programing I put back dash(dash with old milage), after ignition ON, yes new milage on dash is showing, all ok, I start put all back, but after 10min. when car was ready to go, after engine start, old milage have jumped back!
Interesting that second OBD programing have taked 5min onlly to change milage in BSI.
So:
1. we must program dash
2. long OBD programing, its "prepayring" bsi to milage change, when BSI already flashed, we can change milage verry quick

best regards

Can you clarify the opeartion again please?
Are you saying that you had to do the dash 2 times or only once, then bsi twice?
thanks

You are so right about obd programming first time took about 15 mins, second time was very quick.. i havent tested on any other car, just simply throught id share my experience with this car, i did do dash n bsi in the end, but it picked up bsi mileages even though, bsi was lower value then dash.

That was on both times i tried.

in the future I will program bsi by OBD, and while dp3 will program bsi I will do dash on table....

indeed dash only takes 5/10 mins to do, very easy dash to do on them.
