I have read the 93c46 eeprom.

i have the experience with ecu like you, and i think i can help you.

If i remember there are two chip like first.
One of them on one side and second one on the other side.
There was so many posts about immo like yours, if can't find just say , i try to help , like other great people was helped me.

This is a picture of the ECU. I have read the chip Y1.
Both chips(93c46) are on the same side.

You must read both ( 93C46) chips
