Is there anyway to copy the boot image of the dm500s V8.
I am certain the one I have is a cheap Chinese clone with a fake alps tuner
according to what I have read ,therefore the boot loader software for the alps tuner would not work if the box goes down. :hello:

not very little about them but can ya not backup the image from the box with dreamup
and save it on computer

i also have one of these boxes and flashed it with jade pli image
never bothered about the one already on it
and it works fine
