I have install Mercedes WIS-EPC-EWANET 01.2011
I have to enter the full Vin # to get data
The data I get is not for the designation Vin # but for all parts of the same model
Is there any way to determine vehicle data using last 6 digits of the VIN#?
Is any way to display data designated only to Vehicle Vin#?

no way you have to enter the 3 charcters (wdb.... )+ 14 digit to get the full information about the car in the epc and use the data card to got the full inforamtion in the wis
3 charcter for the manufacter desintation (wdb-
3 first digit the chs type (210-203-954)
3 digit for the engine (035=2.0-037=2.3-........)
1 digit for the transmission type
1 charcter manufacture place
6 digit chs no

I have difficulties understanding your problem. It looks like you claim EPC not listing parts unless you give the full VIN. This should not be the case.

On the other hand you seem to claim EPC not giving you those parts only that belong to the particular car even if you enter the full VIN. This could happen if the VIN is incorrect or not known by EPC (for different reasons). Did you get a proper data card for the VIN you were using? Would you dare to post the VIN you had problems with or was it the same with all VIN-numbers?

The dealer in Canada enter the last 6 digit only of the vin#
But, When I click on the data card icon, I get a massage
? No read authorization for this data card?
Any idea how I get my data card working

i think he has the chs no for the car they sold they put the 6 no and the pc complet the 17 digit

I found out that the dealer in Canada using the last 6 diget of the Vin can access the data of mercedes canad not the EPC.
