hi all!!!!
can you help me with one editor for mercedes dash with 24c08 eprom?i swap dash in one s classe w221 (2008)and i need to virgin the dump of dash for adaptation because i have ------ not km
this is the dump

on display i see only ------- not km
dash is k i swaped from other s classe and is identical

but the clock and all fuction works ok, if all work ok you have that the das show the km dont worry

you cannot exchange dash without scn coding. or you read out values from old dash in developer mode and write to new cluster. you see the -------- instead of km because this is some kind of component protection

I haven't tried this, but you can also try to set the odometer to 0 km and then see if you can adapt the dash with STAR. This works for the older dashboards.

Also VIN must be unwritten.

i can't swap eprom because i don't have other dash and yes i wont to put dash to 0 km but i don't know where is writen km in dump.I don't have any algoritm to calculate km from dump :dong: but i hope to find any calculator for this dump

i had the same problem in cl500 cl is the same dash of the S class because i lose the original data i put dump the other dash and it works ok but the km i see ------ but the following day the dash put the new value of the dash 25xxxx in the ezs had 17xxxx i had do it the dash and ezs again and perfect the dash show the value at the moment.

If your S-Class is a W221 (not W220) the code is like old BMW codes such as X5. Therefore, the mileage which is on the first 4 lines is all 00's for 0 mile. Anyway, as previously said you need to SCN code it with the Star.

Here is your dump corrected to 0km, original one have 22520 km inside and part number of your dash is: 2215405111.

I think he didnt solved himself. The solution was obwious from the beggining.

obviously without your help I could not solve the problem, but I solved it and I'm glad there are such forums as we help each other,and the solution was put dash at 0 km and then I did a hard reset to factory settings and of course appeared km from ESZ.

By MB is not hard to calculate checksum for VIN. Edit manualy VIN and repair checksum and work

Yes W221 has 2 batteries. The second battery is in the trunk.
I have seen DP3 mess up the ZGW but I have never seen it mess up the dash... Hmmmm...

i had another problem with dp3 and w221.
2009 model.
after finish everything looked ok but when the car was closed the dash would stay turned on.
i programmed the dash with 20km more then was on it at the moment by obd, after the dash resets, everything was in order again.

probably something with reset at the end of the programmation.

but this car was do before(not me , from France) and I take out China blocker
then I was do again with OBD with little value up

On the s class and cl you don't need bettery power packs etc connect dp3 turn engine on running and Start the process it will them ask to turn engine off and keep ignition in takes35 minutes roughly

W204 and W212 also have a ZGW unit! It is the same unit as the Front SAM. I don't know how to read it so if anyone has dumps from W212/W204 ZGW please share.
