this adapter if for KTSif so can diagnose electronic or mechanical problem. without having to dismantle the pump down?

Yes.in the ECU of the pump is MCU and errors are stored in it.You can test it with simple K-Line interface and dennis sofftware it is free.If you have a KTS and plug from old car electrical system you need female connector to build a tester.

See k-line -for testing with software from dennis .You need power ,ground and k-line.But i thing works with com port not usb/com.Soft is in post 590 in here.

Well i jast recive some staff
1 KKL china clone vag/usb clone
and some vpp electronic block
for 5 min with 12 V adapter and a couple of cables made this thing.
on the pic 2
1 line :original core of the pump.
2 line:?
3 line:?
4 line :?
5 line :bosh Number

This is with russion lang.
I made a test with opcom rev 109 ,but there is no answer from ECU.I am nor shure that my opcom is OK.I will test it tomarrow.

Sorry for posting two posts one after another,but I can not put pictures in edit mode.

for people considering buying bosch kts i seem to remember hearing the latest updates have removed direct pump functions...virgin etc. advise check with supplier before purchase and request confirmation in writing so if function is removed you could claim money back saying not fit for purpose of which you purchased, ie. pump functions, regards steve

Hello ZORO1!
Are you using just a simple VAG COM USB cable like the one I have in the picture? does it work with any Bosch VP44, doesnt matter if the pump is coming from FORD, Nissan, or Opel?
If the question is yes, I have an FORD fiesta, with the VP44 in my hands, and I want to try to dignose it, what should I do to prevent Pump ECU to get locked by inmo?

I do not know for immo ,but the cable is the same for all pumps vp44,30.There is chance to not be loked.Do not turn power on the car with pump removed.
And the cable is simular,and mast be OK.
Opcom works too with removed pump.

the price is 9000 dollars, you can read fault codes, delete, and test the pump in a test using the can-bus network

Thanks, but I am looking to go beyond diagnostics. I want to alter the internal calibration. Specifically how much fuel it will inject compared to how much is requested.

Simple reading VP44:)
When we read DTC from engine ECU, and we see DTC that points to the VP44 pump, we also can read
DTC from VP44 pump.
We can't do this on 16 pins connector inside car (not used for VP44 reading)
Reading VP44 we have to connect to VPpump connector.

How to read DTC from VP44?
Use same interface as for DKFord (normal rs232 KKL interface like Vagcom 3.1.1.2 and 4.0.9)
We can use for VP44 also USB version KKL interface because VP44 talks at 9600 baud (like VAG cars)
For DKFord I only use rs232 style KKL because Ford talks at 10400 baud

VP44 pump talks at 9600 baud/and uses KW71 protocol
Old Fiat cars also talk at this 9600 baudspeed and uses KW71 protocol.
So we can use this soft for VP44

This soft works also with rs232 comport interface

How to connect:
Powerup KKL (pin16 to +)(And 4/5 to -)
Powerup VP44 pump (7 to +)(And 6 to -)
connect KKL pin7 to pin9 on pump connector
How to connect wires to Pump see:
LBM Electronic - Automobili? diagnostin?s ?rangos lyderiai Lietuvoje (http://www.lbm.lt/vp44.htm) (pump connector)

Startup KW71 software
Change ECU 0x10 to 0XF1 (F1 = ecuadres VP44)
Set baudspeed 9600 baud
Set Prot sub type to KW71
Press Open comport
And press Start com, wait a few seconds then press read DTC
First DTC you get is DTC (other dtc's we do not use!!)
(picture dtc 0x53 is real dtc)

Wat's wrong when you read dtc 0x53? see:

Tested KW71 on VAG and Opel VP44, others work also
(I think:)
Many times when I see DTC 59 pump is broken.
Some other Dtc's, wiring problem or air inside fuel lines.

When you erase dtc and there still is a problem with pump, dtc don't come back! (after long time engine starting they popup)
Also ECU dtc takes long time to come back.

I have the bosch connector and I tested with opcom and vp pump siagnostik english and russian version
bought conected read id fault codes
erase fault codes

BUT the actuator test ?
non of them
we have 2 valves
how to actuate them
to test a pump withot the car ?
and data list to see pump speed ?

..you can't actuate those valves without CAN controler for VP pumps..also,you can run VP44 pump on the test bench ONLY with CAN controler.

I not interestet to a stand I have a stand but not for bosch pump
I can put a bosch pump on my stand but not to command
My interes is only for command the pump
At opel the engine is able to start without crankshaft sensor, the ecu enable the pump only with internal pump speed sensor
What is the information to send to pump via CAN to make it start
In this information is a sector for quantity

Sniffing can bus is the way to go :) It is possible to operate the pump with a simple can bus controller .

Method to record transmission is very easy you need two simply and cheap tool:
First: Clone of Salea Logic (less then 10 euro)
Second: Chippest CAN driver example: SN65HVD230 (symbolic amount ;)

Another expensive logger are not reqired ;)

Tried today with focom , get connection but only numbers as DTC s ,without definition of DTC .Also no measured values.Also tried Dennis and opcom ,opcom seem to be better but no actuator activation ,no measured values and most annoying no DTC even the car don t start ,someone said that DTC come only after long non start cranking.
Kind of useless tools ,I try to measure and check everything on module because of lack of hints and lately had a few failed repairs because I ve changed only transistor .
