is there any way i can record and play movies from my pc hard drive to my dremabox.

think some images you can setup a network share to pc
depending on format of movies i think or u need vlc plugin on dreambox and vlc on pc if i remember rightly lol,which i couldnt get it to work properly lol

You need VLC an the Pluggin for it. As west said some images have it, its quite easy to setup, there are some guides on it on here and the internet
