copying from hard drive

hi all, i have mgi photo suite 4 on my computer is it possible to copy it off my hard drive then burn it to disc to install it on another computer? if so how,thing is if i lose it ive no way of getting it back as my mate lost the discs.thanks.

nope, there's not normally any easy way of copying an already installed program.

could you not go on help & about and get the product codes etc and then redownload off their website? (sorry never heard of mgi photo suite). or drop them an email and explain you've lost the disk and are upgrading your pc.

you could start f**king about trying to export registry keys and all parts of the program that may be spread around the hard drive, but to be honest thats just a recipe for disaster!

I'd just download a copy from the usual places. Then if you can get the product key off your machine, great. If not, find a crack.


Or...... Buy it.
