I bought 4 of these and all are junk and useless, couldnt even get them to connect to software to set ISN

Hi there people, can anyone help me? i got one bmw e60 525d of yar 2004, i change the ecu, and i put another ecu and cas, the problem its the vin number or chassi number, the car its running well, but i got some errors lik airbag etc, because the chassi (vin) number its diferent :(...can anyone help me on that? how i change the chassi number ?

I tried to operate with the emulator on EWS2. I read the ISN out by INPA having no issues, but have problems with writing it to the emulator. I connected it to +12V, ground and K-line directly to the K-line adapter. I have the right COM port selected, but no luck with writing the ISN into it. Several times I got "No response or device not connected" and several times "Wrong response" error. The jumper was shorted. Any suggestions? Wrong connection, low voltage (actual was 11,46V from the car's battery), wrong software? The user manual I got from the seller was everything but not perfect.

I have exactly the same problem, cant write isn
error: No response or device not connected

connection is simply and good, 12,5V. port com1, inpa cable, vag kkl.
in your case was emulator faulty?

Finally i solved the problem. All 10 emulatros back in life.
There was a software/configuration fault and the atmega was not able to run the software inside.
I got in contact with the ebay seller and he told me this problem is not realistic. 10/10 can't be bad.
But all was faulty. Sure, i was not refunded.
