is there a version of Mac OS that will work on a normal computer yet?

Google OSX86.. there's lots of them distros out there for normal pc's.

You need to have the right hardware though or you have to do some fiddling with kexts and stuff to get things right.

OSX86 is the way to go but is very fiddley

buy a mac.
i run a hackintosh and 2 apple macs. theres no comparison really. for the best results use the nawcom mod CD with a retail unmodified version of OSX. your computer might not be compatible though.

Good advice and it is best to stay as close to an all intel build as possible for stability.

^yer if your gonna build one.
then by the time you have matched the hardware spec for spec and brand for brand as much as possible, you realise you save very little if at all.

i have a media server that im running the latest mac OS X on and it's flawless. however after the recent update i havent figured out how to get my graphics card supported. it's not as good as the real thing but definitely better than using any other OS i think.

OSX would thrive if they opened it up to PCs.

Yes.. Google tonymac for more info. Im running mac os x lion lion on my 4 year old pc...

is there a version of Mac OS that will work on a normal computer yet?
