My tacho universal dont read 93c56 eeproms, but works on other eeproms. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Your 93cxx board is possibly ~~~~ed, Also check you clip and make sure the wires on the ribbon cable are firmly attached to the pins that slide into the clip
