Hi
I have a problem with Audi A6 2.0 Tdi engine BRE. THe car came to me with DPF blocked, after removal (files sent to me by Magpro service) I have disconnected DPF Pressure sensor, temperature sensor before and after DPF, and there are no Faults present in ECU.
Car drives like it has no power, like in safe mode but no errors in ECU. Dpf was remved mechanically, turbocharger works ok.
I have changed EEPROM and External Flash, I sent the files in attachement.
Please let me know if someone have had similar problem. Thanks in advance.
I have readed measure blocks and the ECU needs only 1560mbar of charged air, and the turbo works till 1560mbar like Ecu need.

i see the turbo maps and the max presure is 2283mbars
i see the bost presure limiters maps and the max value is 2328 mbar
so why you say that 1560mbar is the presure that the ecu need?

Hi
When I make a test drive in measure blocks nr 11: the pressure needed by ECU is 1560mbar (I don't know why - it looks like a limp mode but no errors present), and turbo runs till about 1680mbar and ECU cuts to 1560mbar(like ECU needs).
I saw another strange thing: the PWM of EGR is always 99,6 % and the mass of air is always higher then the mass needed - the PWM% newer change, even above 3000rpm or after few minutes in idle run (it should shutt off EGR but it does not - but no errors present). There is electric EGR valve. No black smoke.
It looks like the car has a lower fuel quantity but I don't know why. Maybe there is a problem with timing ?
The car came to me with only one fault stored: DPF filter blocked and the car was running in limp mode so I have had no chance to check it performance.
I am really happy with Magpro support and never have had any problems with their files.
Any suggestions ?

Unplug differential pressure sensor and FAP/DPF temperature sensor. If there is no more FAP/DPF in system, sensors may cause ECU to run in safe mode due to not understandable signals from sensors. ECU expects no such sensors in system

Did you took a look to fields 067/068/073?

Hi
Today I have done this:
1. Disconnected MAF sensor - limp mode
2. Changed MAF sensor (mass air sensor) - the same problem.
3. Loaded file dpf off egr off from grinovsky - dump is ok, no errors present but still the same - no power.
I called the customer for the fifth time and asked him if the car was really ok before the DPF was blocked and he told me that he have forgotten to mention that it was running without power !!!! This asshole admit that after changing the timing belt it has broken and the engine head was changed for another one. After that the car never got power, and after few weeks the DPF was blocked !!!
The problem is that the engine head from car with DPF (camshafts) differ from the engine without DPF. Secondly I will check timing tommorow and will wait for the old engine head.
Thanks for helping me, and I will reply as soon as possible.

P.S
I have not checked this fields 067/068/073 but will check them for sure.

Hi
After this few days I am sick of this car. This is what I have done:
1. The timing was wrong - so we set this as it should be: nothing changed except faster engine ignition.
2. I have checked the turbo also - it was very strange because the exhaust gases did not run through exhaust pipe but the whole pressure was running through the pipe from exhaust manifold too EGR valve - turbo was tested by specialist - all ok.
3. I have changed the camshafts from the old engine head and the gasses are running now through exhaust pipe so It looked like it is ok - but the same problem - no limp mode but no power.
Now I send the injectors to specialists to check them (checked measure blocks using VCDS they looked ok), I am loosing my patience.
Does anybody have any ideas what to do know ?

Hi
There is another thing : Like said before no errors present, but when I erease fault memory the engine runs when idlling till 6000RPM, and after few second It can only run till 3800RPM. A friend of mine gave me some small sh..ty vw scanner called dominator and it gave me error P4608 but when checking with other scopes no errors present.
One more thing: when I do a test drive, after ereasing fault memory the car has power for a second and after that the same: no power.

I would try a ecu update mate...Had a similar problem on a 3.0tdi and ecu flash update sorted it.

Is that edc 16 or 17?

I need help in removing the DPF on the Audi 2.0 BRE.
Filter is removed, software is not fixed. If regeneration car starts smoking and go into limp mode.

Thanks!
