I do not think Ricky Hatton should be allowed within a hundred miles of Manny Pacman. I am saying this because I am a Ricky Hatton fan. There has to be easier fights.

Why take easier fights!! He has always wanted to take on the best there is so IMHO takin on Manny Pacquiao is the right..Should be one hell of a fight as there both very busy fighters...I cant wait :)

Del La Hoya was dead on his feet, IMHO that was due to the weight lose...Hopefully that wont be his last and he will fight at a better weight adn go out in style like the true champ he is and continuing to take on the best in recent years like Mayweather and Hopkins and going to different weights searching for the best...

if hatton lived with mayweather for 10 rounds (the best fighter i have ever seen) with mayweather fighting at his own wieght and hatton having to move up a wieght. Hatton will be a diffrent fight than Oscar dela Hoya fighting below his wieght and past his sell by date.Hatton now having mayweather snr trianing him my moneys on hatton

Its been shown in the past when hatton fights the best i.e Mayweather he is not in the same class. The same would happen with the Pacman. He would get taken out in 6 rounds i think.

De La Hoya is after all the promoter or these fights, its hardly going to be in Manila unlikely Wembley, more like the Mecha Las Vegas or Madison square Garden, most of the revenue is made in north America and fraction of the European satellite broadcasters using PPV the more East you go the more freely broadcasting of these fights there are.

Hatton is more likely to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr (who has come out of retirement) after his defeat to him to shake off the cobwebs before any attempt of fighting Pacman.

Hatton needs a few more wins before he can afford to lose again, he can not afford to lose in quick concession and fall in rankings and be unable to fight at the top end of the scale, time is not on Hattons side.

Regards.
