I made a mess, I accidently erased the BDM memory with this program : MProg 3.5 . I'm asking whoever has another program to reflash this tool, and the entire BDM chip content, I would be more then gratefull.I've also uploaded the MProg 3.5

Does anyone atleast know if the MC68 can be reprogrammed trough the BDM interface? or do I need the XprogM ?

With Mprog you can erase the 93C46 eeprom only. the 68hc is still ok. you just need to get the ept-file from a working bdm and rewrite it with mprog.

for programming the 68hc you will need xprog, upa or some other programmer.

Ok, so I managed to write the ept file... but DimSport still says: no device found. In the list of the USB Devices it's installed as : "Map3D OBD II Interface" . I've uploaded three pics... One has the FT232BL that says : BLANK DEVICE ??
So, what next ?

You need the FT232 file, to reupload with mprog...
I don't have it.

Here's the FT Programmer, if someone could make a copy of his FT232BL file and upload it here please....Open the software, connect the device, press : "Scan and Parse" then save the file. The file must be in *.xml format in order for me to be able to re-write the FT....

Hi,

you haven't erased the Motorola chip but the eeprom of the FTDI chip in your device! You need the reprogramm either using FT_Programmer oder MProg, doesn't matter!

Search the forum for BDM1255! The file for the eeprom ist still there!

Best regards!

Sam

Yes... but I need the XML file to reprogram the FTDI... because it says : BLANK DEVICE

I'm checking my chinese BDM100 which is no longer working. I have doubt on the MC74HC14AD chip. I plug the BDM to the USB port of laptop. pins 5(DSCK) and 7(DSDI) when measured to ground (pin6) with DMM is showing 5V (flat cable not connected to ECU). Very much appreciated if anyone here can verify this is correct or wrong.
