95/96 vw golf gti immo

I am trying to learn about immo removal. Software never seems to list this early golf. Also what hardware is available for the early ecus with immobilisers. hope this is the right section.

your car neeD to be with immo box with 05B6 motorola
post dump and will see what you need change for next time
you will see 55 FF FF in the midlle of file ,make 00 AA AA and car will start

Thanks for the quick response but i do not know which software to use to get dump. The only software i have is a free version of vag com downloadable from thier site which i am learning to use. I am in the middle of fiting the engine and electrics into an older vw and was trying to get rid of immo box and use original keys for the old car.

you need programer to read and write motorola in immo box.
i use upa programer and it is solution for immo off

Thanks for that i take it this is upa usb as online shops. By immo box do you mean ecu or the black box. Sorry for being slow on the subject but i am only just getting into this. :stupid:

why not remove immo from ecu directly. what tipe of ecu do you have fitted to this vehicle.

find some cheap programer and read 93C56 in ECU, then post dump to disable immo directly in ECU, then you will remove immo box and start without immo
