You can probably go through a specialist website but Blackberrys take like 3 weeks to get un-locking codes for,
I don't think Vodafone will be interested in providing a unlocking code until you have had the handset for 12 months.
Also Blackberrys are the most expensive to get codes for around ?50..
And having played around with one in the local Vodafone store,i found it very difficult to navigate with the highlight then one click process.

Its seems like nobody wants to really hack a storm for a various reasons. Almost all data on a BlackBerry runs through RIM so unless you have some way to get code onto RIM’s backend servers there just isn’t going to be that much you can do. At some point somebody may try and 'jailbreak' it, in the iPhone world that means to install 3rd party applications without needing to go through App Store. Blackberry and the Storm will not have that restriction (unless your corporation turns that switch on their BES server).

As for unlocking, i have found one guy claiming to be selling them but i think that was just a ruse to get you looking at the rest of his dodgey stock. Have you tried to use a wafer with your sim which means you can use any sim in any phone and it overrides the device/networks settings. I have previously bought them from a well known internet auction site for use on nokia devices.
