For D2DownLoad ... 104No download possible,

I just discover, after many other test, if power up the multiplexer without communication cable connected and after a few seconds connect the com port cable, multiplexer become alive with succesfully CAESAR test and also within diag (I tested on CAN-only A-Klass).

Any advice?

Its a very strange problems:)I am working on this.
When its not working you have 5 V on Ram nr 1 pin 1 ?
Self test will work with SAF ,RAM and Lattice .
Try to make self test without Flash and see if work always.
You must get caesar self test Acces Flash eror FF-00 but all the rest ok.

If I power the mux with serial connected I can not hear the click from relay.
If I power without serial connected the relay do not click at all.

All voltages seams OK .

When relay do not click, I have only D2DownLoad ... 104No download possible.

Can you point me the relay that click when power on the Mux?

When you power your mux with rs232 cable or without you must not get any click at any relay.
If you hear a click when you power you mux ,i think its the realy near the PIC 12f ,you can measure wich its tick when you power on.I think your mux itd D4 right?

On D4 mux:
The boards are conected by pins not by cable,and main voltage regulator are 2 x 7805,1 x 7808 and one tip 32 transistor with separatly aluminium heat sink

D3 mux:
with main voltage reulator 2 x LM ,1 x 7805 and 1 tip 32 transistor and comun aluminium radiator.

Its important if id D3 or D4 ,schematic is diffrent.

On both mux there its no click sound from relay when you power on!

If its D4 check both of Max 232 ,if its D3 check max202 and max483.
And don t forget check all pins contacts(SAF,Lattice,can converters etc)
After you check this i will tell you next step.

It is D4 with boards connected by pins.

Check ,the pins soldering of rs232 conector on main board.
Resolder all main components .
Self test must begin with SAF ,CAN converters and Lattice only!
Will block if ram its fail or will report erors if are bad components ,bad soldering contacts etc ,but must begin if SAF,CAN and Lattice its ok !
Sure MAX converters must be ok too!
