Hi Guys,

Quick question, usually when i do Honda Accord 07, 08, they are usually 93c56 but tachosoft calculator can't calculate the algo right. I have to use a different calculator to figure this out. Does any1 know why.

PS. this is in USA and is Miles.

thanks

Tachosoft algo is in km. Try to use conversion km/mls.

Calculate U'r current mileage and compare with U'r dump. If is it close, just calculate and program with new... If it is not matching at all, than select different car with same eeprom and try again.

These dashboards it is possible to count precisely at once!

Hi odofix,

This kind of algo is easy enough, it's divide by 16 for the 1st word than invert it for the 2nd word, mileage display will vary 20 to 200. For c76 eep divide by 32, that's all.

Out of topic:

If you don't mind, i want to ask something that make me curious. I heard about carfax in your country & Canada, how you guys or your clients deal with this shit??? Thanks.

Well i have a different calculator for it that works, but I was wondering whats the reason. But i guess its ok.

as far as carfax., there is a another one as well. AutoCheck. What they get is if the vehicle has been any type of accident odometer information, title problems.

Anytime car gets info accident, smog check, dealer, dmv, this people report to this companies and they have a database and they sell it.

Thanks

yes, Carfax makes this business very difficult. Everything on paper gets reported to them, they have access to transport dept database. So a customer has to plan for it accordingly.

So you guys don't have anything like carfax in your country?

That must be like paradise....

I also deal in USA and carfax makes things difficult, but just a few ask about carfax.

But you know there is always ways around it.
